ثلاثية غرناطة - Gradana Trio - Radwa Ashour
A recommendation by two of my dearest friends, and the first book originally written in arabic I read in long time.
It is the story of four or five generations of one family who used to live in Granada after the reconquista. The story starts with the surrender of Granada's king, and ends a century later, when the castalians ordered the complete epuration of Andalucia from the arabs.
The story is touching and sad, and it wont let you insensible to its events, you will sympathize with the characters, and live some amazing trips, attaching anecdotes...
It is very well written, and I recommed it to everyone who wants to read a good book, but I have to warn you that when you will reach the end, you will feel a bit melancholic...
