21 years.... old
I just turned 21 years, I am diabetic, my father just died and I don't accept this fact yet, my family is thousands of miles away, I am financially insecure, I am not yet enrolled at any university and I don't know what I'll do next fall... And I am not sad at all!!!
When you have true friends who do care about you, and a family that backs you and supports you, you don't really have anything to worry about!
My plans for the coming year are to be enrolled in a respected economics school (on campus or distance degree), to raise enough money to pay my studies, to write this comics I've always dreamed of doing, to travel to two new countries, to have an internship in an interesting company (CDM related), to start these two specialized blogs, to meet Nadine Labaky again :p (or penelope cruz), to read more Quran and answer some religious private questions... And I'd be satisfied if I achieve all this in one year.
I know many people count on me, and I won't disappoint them!

Amin, I've just few words that may be you've to know.
We are friends since at least 8 years. I know you since you're 13 years old. And from that time I admired you (despite I'm 9 years older than you). I was proud of you and till now I still proud of you. You're ambitious and genius, so please my friend don't let the last year that was too hard for you change your way of viewing life. In fact, this life is like a puzzle where each part is necessary, so be strong and try to bypass all your problems in order to have a better life tomorrow.
Sorry for disturbing you by my thoughts, and before forgetting wafa wish you too happy birthday.

Keep your head down and roll with the punches, man. You're still very young; you've got time to sort this stuff out.
My only advice to you: don't forget to visit Philadelphia when you take your grand tour of America!
